CrossTx Raises $735k Angel Round for its Health Care Coordination Platform

Looks to Expand Development, Customer Success and Sales

Bozeman, MT – February 20, 2017 – CrossTx, a premier cloud-based healthcare coordination platform, today announced that it has raised a $735,000 angel round.  This new funding round was led by the Frontier Angel Fund 2, a Pacific Northwest-based group of accredited angel investors. This round brings the company’s total funding to roughly one million dollars.

“If you look in the unlikely place you will often times find something special,” said Liz Marchi, Frontier Fund Founder. “CrossTx is just that, a high-growth, innovative tech company based in Bozeman, Montana.”

CrossTx is yet another successful tech startup based in Montana.  Bozeman, Montana is quickly becoming known as “Silicon Peaks,” the Silicon Valley of Montana.  CrossTx Founder and CEO Chad Nybo was a software developer at RightNow Technologies.  RightNow, a cloud-based customer service software company, provided Bozeman with over 500 high paying jobs and an influx of technology and business talent. RightNow Technologies was acquired by Oracle and like many former RightNow employees, Nybo stayed in Bozeman to continue his career in software engineering. Nybo founded CrossTx in 2010 when he and his father, Terry Nybo, a now-retired dentist, discussed the overwhelming need for care coordination and communication in healthcare.

CrossTx will use this round of funding to continue growth in sales, development and customer success.  “We are at an integral crossroads of growth and development,” said CrossTx Founder and CEO Chad Nybo. “The need for our platform to better the patient experience is infinite.  Not only are we giving providers a 360-degree view of a patient’s health, but we are allowing providers to measure results that assist in business decisions.”

CrossTx helps improve overall patient experience with its innovative care coordination platform.  Primary care providers can seamlessly communicate across the care continuum while managing, tracking and analyzing a patient’s history and future healthcare needs. “On average, a primary care provider can increase revenue by nearly $200k per year,” continued Nybo. “This cost savings, our easy-to-use interface, and a seamless integration are only a few of the reasons payers and clinicians are knocking on our door.”
